Omar Merritt Pennel was born in Kansas in 1879 to Augustus Pennel and Mary J. Pennel.
Omar was a long time resident of Wolf River in Doniphan County, Kansas.
Omar married Estella May Starr Pennel, daughter of Charles Hedrick Starr and Lucy Jane Clark Starr in 19??. They continued to live in Wolf River and later Troy. Omar and Estella had ? children.
